Gibraltar - 6th February 2015 - The Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo, accompanied by Social Affairs Minister Samantha Sacramento at Number Six Convent Place, has today officially released a 600 page document detailing the finding of an Inquiry under the Commissions of Inquiry Act into matters concerning the Dr Giraldi Home following allegations dating back to 2000. The inquiry report presented by Sir Jonathan Parker, Chairman, concludes that the allegations were "unsubstantiated by credible evidence." The Chief Minister has today indicated that no further action will follow and that he will formally point the Chief Secretary towards the published report for him to decide, if he deems fit, on the status of the civil servant who brought the allegations forward. The Chief Minister stated that he was happy that the report had found that the allegations were unfounded. Full report at
