Texas Military Department personnel and state partnership program delegates visit the Giza Pyramid Complex during a cultural exchange in Egypt June 17, 2021. The cultural exchange followed a weeklong visit to Cairo for a signing ceremony and exchanges with Texas’ newest state partner, the Arab Republic of Egypt. SPP links a state’s National Guard with the armed forces or equivalent of a partner country in a cooperative, mutually beneficial relationship.
