(1862) H. linteatus. v Tail of Heterocercus linteatus from beneath. This is a very singular type, remarkable for the peculiar form of the tail and the nearly smooth rictus. The foot-structure appears to be Piprine, and I therefore place it here, but am not quite satis- fied that it will always retain this position.
