This potato resembles New Queen but ripens considerably earlier. This is a first-class variety for market or home use. Peck 50c., bushel , barrel (3 bushels) $ EARLY THOROUGHBRED. This is a Thoroughbred " Early Rose. There is prac- tically no difference between this and the old Early Rose except that perhaps the Thoroughbred runs more even in size and shape and has shallower eyes. Ripens about the same time as New Queen but can be used quite early. A good yielder. Peck 50c., bushel $, barrel $ EARLY MICHIGAN, A white, smooth, early potato of nice oval shape and fine quality. A much advertised variety, but has not done as well with us as some others. Peck 50c, bushel $, barrel NEW QUEEN* A standard variety. Yields larger crops and resists blight better than any other early potato we know of. It does not get ripe as early as the extra early kinds, but gets to a marketable size nearly as early.
