Toudayi Oumar, 30, mother of four children in her home. Her eldest child, Fatima, aged 12, was about to be married off by her father against her will for 20 goats. An intervention by Fatima Soumana, child protection director for Tera District, brought the case to the district court and got the marriage annulled.
