TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATIONThe transportation department of the Pacific Electric Rail-way is in charge of a general superintendent and three di-vision superintendents. The operation of trains is closely inaccord with steam railroad methods. There are 370 passen-ger cars, 430 freight and express cars and 1 7 locomotives orconstruction motor cars available for service. The types ofpassenger and freight equipments were illustrated and describedin the Electric Railway Review for July 24, 1907,page 64.
