The village hall known as Falls Park Show Pavilion is the centre of the weekly village Sunday market in the picturesque historic town of Evendale beside the South Esk River in the northern part of Tasmania 18km from Launceston – Tasmania’s second largest city. Its most famous annual event is the National Penny Farthing Championships. Evandale is a National Trust classified Georgian village, popular with tourists for its unspoiled heritage building. A short distance down the road is Clarendon House - one of Australia's greatest Georgian houses.
