Chum Mey, one of seven people who survived S-21 prison. The Khmer Rouge to let him live because he could repair the typewriters used to record confessions. Tuol Sleng Genoside Museum in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is today a memorial to the 16,000 people tortured here during the reign of the Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot. Today Chum Mey talks about his experiences to visitors at the museum. Two million of Cambodia's seven million people died during the Khmer Rouge regime. Half were killed, half starved.
