Ocher Starfish (Pisaster ochraceus) at Wickaninnish Beach - Pacific Rim National Park, Tofino, Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Ocher starfish are spiny-skinned creatures called echinoderms. They are the most abundant type of starfish in the inter-tidal zone and come in three colors: purple, brown and yellow. The Ochar starfish are predators and they prefer mussels.
