Adapted to more northerly latitudes. PERKINS' MAMMOTH or TALL GREEN 3 to AY2 56 A medium early, productive sort. Pods bright, deep green, 7 to 8 inches long; slender, meaty, tapered, and ribbed. A valuable market and canning variety. Lady Finger 3 to 44 55 An improved strain of White Velvet. Plant tall, early and prolific. Pods creamy white, slender, spineless, ribless, 6 to 7 inches long. New Market 3 62 Developed by Dr. Julian C. Miller at the Louisiana Agri- cultural Experiment Station. A late sort, very prolific and of good quality. Plant dwarf, dark green. Pods dark green. White Velvet 3 to 3V2 60 Plant early, prolific; pods pale greenish white, 6 to 7 inches long, meaty, tender; smooth, round and pointed, excellent for home garden.
