Emilywas a most lovable girl and satisfactoryin every way. As a member of our fam-ily and of Centenary Methodist churchshe was attentive to the religious im-pulses which came her way. She hadexprebsed a desire to some day becomea missionary. Funeral services wereconducted by Dr. Cnas. C. Weaver, herpastor, and interment was made inWilkesboro cemetery, where Emily waslaid to rest by the side of her father andmother, who had gone And he marbled—marbled— CENTRAL, ALBEMARLE Our singing class had a good time withour friends at Central, Albemarle, yes-terday at the opening of the Sundayschool hour. Supt. John B. Harris andRev. W. B. West, pastor, had arrangedfor the entire Sunday school to assem-ble in their beautiful church auditorium,where our girls gave a thirty minutesprogram. Our friends in Albemarle showby their support that they love the Chil-drens Home and we were glad to visitthem on a good will trip. Everythingseemed to be in fine shape at Albemarleand it was a pleasure to again be ableto mingle with choice friends there,among them being, in addition to the su-perintendent and pastor, R. L.
