An Ottoman flintlock blunderbuss, circa 1850. Round barrel with a belled muzzle. The top of the barrel has rich ornamental inlays in white metal. Finely engraved flintlock with a carved wooden stock. The butt stock has (darkened) metal wire inlay. Iron furniture with a staple for carbine ring on the opposite side from the lock.
