Lt. Col. Evan Hessel, commander of the 102 CERFP, affixes the CERFP patch to the arms of his Guardsmen who have completed all the requirements to wear the badge. An ExEval is an inspection conducted by the Joint Interagency Training and Education Center every two years, and is designed to measure the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) team’s ability to respond to a natural or human caused disaster.
