Alexander Bowers, a newly commissioned medical officer from the 118th Wing, Tennessee Air National Guard, receives his second lieutenant pins from his mother Rebecca Bowers Feb. 10, 2019 at Berry Field Air National Guard Base, Nashville, Tennessee. Bowers earned his commission and a full-scholarship to attend medical school through the Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program.
