Saint John's Church in Calcutta (Kolkata) in West Bengal in India. The historic St John's was originally a cathedral and was among the first buildings erected by the East India Company. The foundation stone was laid by Warren Hastings (Governor General of India) on 6 April 1784. Many memorials are included in it's grounds including Job Charnock's Mausoleum and Black Hole of Calcutta Monument.
