John Talbot, 1st Earl of Shrewsbury and 1st Earl of Waterford KG (1384/1387 – 17 July 1453), a noted English military commander during the Hundred Years' War, presenting a book to King Henry VI. Talbot was a daring soldier, who reorganized the army with captains and lieutenants, trained the men for sieges, and equipped them accordingly and his trademark tactic was rapid aggressive attacks.
