OUR OWN GROWTH SOLD ONLY UNDER OUR TRUE BLUE SEAL For the mutual protection of our customers and ourselves against unscrupulous dealers, we have been compelled to adopt the plan of sealing every package of the Livingston varieties of Tomato seeds whether large or small with our True Blue Seal. Because dishonest merchants attached the name of "Liv- ingston" to their spurious strains, unsuspecting plant- ers have supposed they were getting the genuine and have been shamefully wronged. To be sure of getting pure and unimpaired stock seed of all the Livingston varieties, order direct from us or insist on every pack- age bearing our True Blue Seal. Twenty-two years ago we originated our Paragon, which was the first perfectly smooth red variety known. Five years later we introduced the Acme, the first perfectly smooth purple sort known. These are all now standard sorts. As origi- nators and introducers of them we use the most assiduous care in growing the seeds, and, although these same varieties are extensively advertised by other dealers, yet we do not hesitate to claim superiority for oicr headquarters strains.
