He was born inLongworth, Lincolnshire, England, November , and was therefore in the eighty-third yearof his age when he passed away at Wilmingtonon the 7th of February, 1905. He pursued hiseducation in the schools of his native countrywhile spending his boyhood days under the paren-tal roof.
