A vigorous native climbing variety; leaves divided into five bright green toothed leaf- lets, in autumn changing to gorgeous shades of red and scarlet. Ampelopsis Veitchii (A. Japoniea, or tricus- pidata); (Japan, or Boston Ivy.) A beau- tiful deciduous climber of very rapid growth; eminently suitable for covering brick walls, stumps, etc. One of the most beautiful and popular hardy climbers. Bignonia grandiflora. (Tecoma; Japan Trum- pet Vine.) A medium-growing climber, with large, deep orange flowers. When in full flower, very conspicuous; blooms nearly all summer. Beautiful plant when grown in clumps. Euonymus Japonicus radicans argentea-margl- natus (Variegated Trailing Euonymous). Light green, silver-edged foliage. Ficus repens (Climbing Fig). Evergreen climber; small, roundish, dark green leaves; attaches itself to walls like ivy. Honeysuckle Heckrotti. (Heckrott's Honey- suckle.) Flowers rose-colored on the out- side, yellow in the center. A most excellent variety. Blooms continually from early spring until winter. Honeysuckle Japoniea. (L. Halleana; Jap- anese Honeysuckle.) A very vigorous ever- green climber; flowers white, changing to yellow, are borne in great profusion in sum- mer, and sparingly in the autumn. Natural- ized in many sections of the country.
