Following the ordinarymethod of laying brick the leaders give a Flemish bond. The ordinance re-quires that such walls be laid with mortar composed of 3 parts of richlime mortar and 1 part of cement. They may be used only in 1-storvbuildings where the height of the story does not exceed 9 ft., erected outsidefire limits Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4.
