BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (Mar. 26, 2017) - The transfer of authority ceremony held here today during which Task Force ODIN relinquished the Afghanistan-theater Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance mission to Task Force Lightning/525th Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade. The ceremony marks the end of the Task Force ODIN organizational structure in Afghanistan. ODIN-A was formed in 2009 as a conglomeration of joint service members, Department of Defense civilians, and contractors augmentees.
