It ripens with Delaware, which it resembles in appearance, though larger in bunch and berry. A valuable grape. GRAPESâRESISTANT FOR STOCKS. It has now been fully demonstrated, both in this country and Europe, that ceitain species of grapes possess qualities which render them resistant to the ravages of the phyllox- era, the dreaded enemy of the vine-grower. The grafts, in nearly every instance, make more vigorous and rapid growth on these wild stocks than when on their own s V CURRANTS.
