Jack Clayton pictured with his mother Kate Oram. During Jacks birth his mother was given a large amount of the drug Oxytocin after being overdue for 9 days. The drug increases contractions to bring on labour but can starve the baby of Oxygen. Yeovil District Hospital admitted that serious mistakes were made that lead to Jacks brain damage due to a lack of oxygen which let to him developing Cerebral Palsy. Jack is now reliant on his parents to look after him. He suffers from impaired movement and speech and cannot walk unaided.
