Ischia Earthquake of 1883. 19th-century artwork of destroyed buildings in the aftermath of the Ischia Earthquake of 28 July 1883, on the Italian island of Ischia at the northern end of the Gulf of Naples. The earthquake destroyed the villages of Casamicciola Terme and Lacco Ameno. This engraving dates from 1888.
