NIGHT INTRUDER PILOT WINS : SQAUDRON LEADER TOMALIN HAS BEEN AWARDED THE DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSS. - "He has invariably set a fine example and his leadership has been an inspiration to his Squadron" says the Citation announcing the award. Under his command the Squadron has destroyed at least twelve enemy aircraft and damaged six others.
