The poultry-house is divided into two parts, so that one can be appropriated for young chickens and brooding hens, which is a very convenient method, and avoids the loss of a single chick. At the other end is a yard for manure, with a pig-pen at the rear. An Open Cow Shed.—A cheap and convenient open shed for feeding or milking may be built as Fig. 16.—oPE^r cow sked.
