As may be seen the variation is only between 72 and102 amperes in the dynamo circuit while the line fluctuatesfrom 20 to 210 amperes. The voltage on the line circuit isquite constant, the maximum variation being between 535and 560 The curves are plotted for 24 minutes, the timerequired for the cars to make a complete trip. The bat-ter} described has been in service for the past 2J^ years,nine months of which it has been connected directly^to thedynamo terminals, and as yet there is no trace of wear ^^^pp^^pppH^ffpppsPPPs;
