Statue of queen Victoria in the avenue named The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace, in London. The sculptor, Thomas Brock, created this enormous portrait from a single piece of Italian marble from Carrara. Victoria's son, King George the fifth, unveiled the memorial in 1911 although the final allegorical figures were not completed until 1924.
