An A to Z alphabet in the form of semaphore flag signals that form part of an old set of cigarette cards from WD and HO Wills, Bristol and London, part of Imperial Tobacco. The set is entitled: Signalling series. These sets cards were given away singly in packets of cigarettes and were (and are still) popular collector's items. Semaphore signalling using hand held flags is still a strong naval tradition - vintage graphics for editorial use only.
