Castellfollit de la Roca. The village is located 296 meters above sea level and sits on a basalt cliff, the cliff of Castellfollit. Has more than 50 meters high and almost one kilometer long. This basalt cliff is the result of the erosion of the rivers Fluvià and Toronell volcanic remains on for thousands of years. The cliff is the superimposition of two lava flows.
