Stjerne Radio resistance museum in the Vesterbro neighborhood in Copenhagen,Denmark,Scandinavia.

Star Radio, in Danish Stjerne Radio, was founded in 1942 by a family named Munck. Shortly after, the owners installed a printer at the back of the store from which they produced illegal newspapers. In 1943, a meeting of men who wanted to resist German oppression began in the store. They were called Holger Danske, after a legendary figure who sat in the cellar of Kronborg, the play of Hamlet, and who rose from his sleep when Denmark was in danger. These groups worked alongside the communist BOPA groups, but insisted on staying separate from them as nationalist and conservative-minded people.
