The designer Roberto Verino has presented today, Thursday, April 8, his Spring-Summer 2021 collection based on ESSENTIALISM in collaboration with the Madrid Capital de Moda project of the Madrid City Council through a virtual and interactive parade in the mupis or advertising media of the Serrano street in the section between Ortega y Gasset and Hermosilla streets. Concha Díaz de Villegas, General Director of Commerce and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council, Pepa Bueno, Director of the Association of Fashion Creators of Spain, Nuria de Miguel, Director of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid catwalk as well as Helena López de Hierro , Director of the Costume Museum have accompanied the designer, Paula Díez Deputy Director of the Costume Museum and Carlos Marín García, Head of Development and Institutional Relations at JCDecaux. The collection has been made known through 15 looks photographed in black and white located in the mupis along the street that are animated digitally and in color by bringing any mobile device closer. This innovative and imaginative way of presenting the collection has to do with respecting the security measures imposed by covid 19, hence it is done outdoors and with access to all types of public when doing it on one of the streets. most commercial and crowded places in Madrid with the aim of bringing fashion to the streets and which can be visited until April 20. To this we add the use of new technologies and supports that offer possibilities to experiment and offer a vision of the dynamic and contemporary collection.
