Charles Bauman, a combat artist and logistics officer with Marine Wing Support Squadron 271, illustrates a Marine Raider’s kit during a pre-deployment culminating exercise at Camp Lejeune, , June 13-16, 2022. Combat artist is a free military occupational specialty that can be filled by any Marine regardless of primary military occupational specialty in addition to their regular duties.
