Stroh is in the Adirondack moun- tains. There is a little anxiety felt by the loading florists here about baskets, which are used so extensively for de- butantes during the winter, as all the finer ones are imported from Germany. Several florists have said they would use up their stock on hand and when that is exhausted sell something else, such as old-fashioned bouquets, Beauties, etc. The war, therefore, has no terrors for them, so far as baskets are concerned. There will be a way of doing without other articles, such as bulbs, crepe paper, immortelles, etc., by substituting something else for the article required. E. C. A. GRAND RAPIDS.
