Rather common in grassy places on the islets in the rivers Yenisei and Abakan, where collected by me in full flower at the beginning of June. The speci- mens are very large and well-grown, to 30 cm. high, the calyx-lobes com- paratively short, only from 7^ to */« of the length of the calyx, subacutish at the top. The tube is of a deep yellow colour, projecting 1—1,5 mm. beyond the calyx. The petiole, the under side of the leaves, the bracts, the pedicels, and the calyx are dense- ly mealy, of a yellowish green. Distribution: Over the greater part of Europe, southern Siberia, in the Altai and Baikal regions, north- ern Mongolia, North America. Primula longiscapa Ledeb. in Mem. Acad.
