The Altar in St. Nicholas's Chapel, Lantern Hill, Ilfracombe.

The Chapel was once the home of the Davey family who had fourteen children. It has also shone a beacon light for the harbour since the middle ages and is probably the oldest working lighthouse in the country. It was a place of worship from 1321 to the Dissolution in 1540. It is now a tourist attraction and occasional religious services are held here.
