This little hood or bonnet should be lined with silk, with ribbonties, and loops among the lace bows, to match the lining silk in. Border for Knitted Hood. color; it will ba found very dainty. It may be made larger ifdesired, by knitting the 16th row like the 14th, with 8 plain sts, etc.,thus making the star larger and enlarging the whole pattern. Morerows may also be put in the border, like the 59th row. This designis nearly all original with the writer, who has made the little hoodsin different sizes, the larger being more elaborate. After 74th row the bonnet is knitted in rows, back and forth, and1 needle may be dispensed with.
