SASEBO, Japan (Nov. 30, 2016) Petty Officer 2nd Class David Sacdal, from San Francisco, Calif., dons an MCU-2P gas mask during a chemical, biological, radiological drill aboard amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard, forward-deployed to Sasebo, Japan, is serving forward to provide a rapid-response capability in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
