The osteophyte enlargements have not increasedin size, nor diminished, since they have been under observation,as is shown in the skiagraph, Fig. 43, which was taken fouryears later than that shown in the preceding cut. The fingers were curved asby equal contraction of the muscles, anteriorly and posteriorly,the fingers at the end phalanx being turned towards the thumband at the middle joint in the opposite direction.
