Eugène Aizelin - "Judith", Paris, circa 1870 Bronze, with a dark patina. Fully sculptured representation of Judith standing, in flowing oriental garb, her upper body partly exposed. A falchion in her right hand, Holofernes' decapitated head at her feet. The plinth inscribed "JVDITH". Signed on the right-hand side "EUGne AIZELIN", also the foundry stamp "Thebaut Freres Fondeurs, Paris". Height cm.
