Under parts, including insitle of wings and side of breast, white; the jugulum and median line of body to and including orissum, carmine rod. Wings blackish ; the outer webs more plumbeous, edged with paler, and with two narrow whitish bars across the coverts ; the inner webs abruptly edged with white. Tail black, the outer feather white, xcept at base; the black passing farther along the inner web; the next feather with the black more extended ; the third with the white confined to the tip; the fourth with a narrow streak of white in the end ; the others all black.
