During the preceding year 148 trespassers were killed and73 injured, while the average number killed and injured an-nually for the preceding ten years was 148 and 64 respectively. The character of accidents to trespassers during the yearended June 30, 1915, is shown by the following: — CHARACTER OF ACCIDENT. Collision, Overhead or side obstruction, . . Falling, ^ Walking on or crossing track, ....Getting on or off cars, trains, etc., Other, Total, Other persons were reported killed and 10 injured during theyear, classified as follows: — Killed. Employees of contractors, consignees and consignors, .Employees of Pullman, express companies, 4 1 9 1 Total 5 10 In addition to the above, 8 persons were reported killedand 3 injured, whose proper classification in the reports ofaccidents was indeterminable. A return was also received from the receiver of the Warren,Brookfield & Spencer for the period during which this railwaywas operated by him.
