In a specimen of sting ray, this condition is especially marked, where the plexus of the roof of the 4th ventricle is almost a sinus. Fig. 7. The third ventricle plexus or parencephalon is complicated and variable with in every case of a number of species examined, an extension on each side into the basal part of the cavity of the cerebral region.
