The brush is made of the choicestFrench bristles, sterilized, blended withpure Badger hair in the proper propor-tions for long wear, elasticity and firm-ness. The bristles are vulcanized in hardrubber and are said not to shed. Theother portion of the brush, a finger pad. The Luxury Lather Brush,made of the best Para gum, is used forrubbing in the lather to prepare theface for the razor. There are 150 little,tapering, round, red, rubber fingers, ster-ilized and sanitary. They work intothe beard, the tapering ends penetratingbetween the hairs. In this way thebeard is softened way down to the roots,n here the razor cuts. The position of the handle is refer-red to as particularly convenient forholding ami for avoiding contact withthe lather. The position of the handleis also said to give perfect control ofpressure. In addition to the comfort de-rived from the use of the brush thesaving in the razor blade is a point notto be overlooked.
