Singer Sue Thompson chats with battle-weary Marines of the 3rd Marine Division in 1966, after entertaining them at the Third Marine Regiment. The Marines had recently returned from Operation Hastings and enjoyed the performance as Sue sang many favorites. She was accompanied by a three-man combo called "Wild Affair." Miss Thompson dedicated songs to the Marines and ended with "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?" This photograph was taken by the Defense Department (Marine Corps) in Vietnam.
