the FMDT (Foreign Materials Training Detachment), was housed in the 80s at the shooting range Grafenwoer, in West Germany. The FMDT collected tanks, vehicles and small arms of Soviet origin. At the detachment pass in rotation many units, both USA and other NATO nations, who followed theoretical and practical courses of familiarization with the weapons of the enemy.
