PACIFIC OCEAN (March 14, 2019) – Seaman James Baker, from Whitesboro, Texas, uses the ‘big eyes’ on the bridge wing of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) during a training exercise with other Navy warships. Navy warships train together to increase the tactical proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units in an Era of Great Power Competition.
