Capoeira artwork
This work on Capoeira was shot on the beautiful beaches of Playa del Carmen in Mexico with the help of a Capoeira expert. The post production work in putting the right images together aimed at representing the blend of martial arts, game and dance that is at the heart of the Capoeira culture. The male athlete preparation was outstanding and the beautiful Mexican Yucatan ocean was the perfect backdrop to capture all of the fluid acrobatic play of sweeps, kicks, summersaults, jumps and leaps. The work was finally composed in panoramic format after extensive post-production, when all’s said and done the end result is a pleasurable composition suitable for any capoeira display.
