Pvt. Wesley Chism, Army, uses a Humvee to conduct a morning patrol around the perimeter of a Army base camp in the Kuwaiti desert on March 2, 1998. Chism is attached to Alpha Company of the 11th Engineers, Fort Stewart, Ga., which are deployed to Kuwait as part of a force augmentation in Southwest Asia.
