Asha Leima, whose husband Yumnam Premkumar was killed along with two others from Bishnupur district in Manipur recently, poses for a photo at a relief camp in Bishnupur. The clashes between the Meiteis and the Kukis caused great hardship to the local population and led to many people being driven from their homes. More than 50,000 people were forced to leave their homes to save themselves and their family members.
